Buster is doing okay this morning but they said it is still touch and go. When they took him out of the oxygen cage to do his vitals, he was very affectionate and wanted to be petted but had difficulty breathing. He doesn’t like their food – he turns his nose up at it which we find amusing. They called to ask us what we feed him so that they could try and find something he would eat.
They have him on a broad spectrum antibiotic until the pathologist comes in today and makes a diagnosis as to if it really is just an infection and if so, what kind of infection it is.
I have lots of faith in Buster and still have lots of hope that he will be able to come home.
We are off to Raleigh to be closer to the vet school if they need us so I probably will not be able to add an update again until later tonight.
Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes!
